Albers American Legion

The Stukenberg-Eilermann Post 1026, chartered in 1946, is a dedicated group of Legionnaires who give much to area veterans and the local communities. Our post is named after Harold Stukenberg, Coxswain, USNR, and Alphonse Eilermann, P.F.C., USA, both Albers residents killed-in-action during World War II. Let us never forget their sacrifice. The current commander is Barry Abbott.

The Albers Legion Auxiliary Unit 1026 was established in 1947. Thanks to the early leaders of this organization, they are a very strong and capable group today. They provide detailed planning and catering for all meals and provide support to the Legion. They are an important part of the Legion family. We recently completed the remodeling of our bar area and dance floor. It is the perfect place to hold any type of reception or gathering. The current president is Deb Kehrer.

The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 1026 was established in 1983 and is a group of young men who can do anything. Their leadership skills along with their many occupational skills are invaluable. If something needs to be done, the SAL are always willing and able to accommodate. They, too, support the Legion and are an important part of the Legion family. The current commander is Nick Schroeder.
